Receptionist – UPTOWN Mirdiff (UAE Nationals Only)

Job Description

The key accountabilities and activities would include:

1. Front Office Management

  • Professionally answer all incoming calls and ensure phone calls are directed appropriately and provide information to callers
  • Monitor Telephone bills (Landline/ Mobile) and ensuring that all payments are processed within the agreed timeline
  • Greet visitors in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner
  • Maintain reception area, meeting rooms etc.
  • The close phone system in the evening ensuring a proper voice message for incoming calls
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock
  • Keep updated records of office expenses and costs

2. Administration

  • Schedule meetings to maintain conference room calendars
  • Coordinate catering for meetings and office events
  • Receive and dispatch courier packages and hand deliveries
  • Receive & log documents and distribute to the concerned person.
  • Maintain the telephone list
  • Type memos, correspondence, reports, emails and other documents as needed
  • Any other job duties as assigned by manager
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning and faxing
  • Follow management directives and perform any additional duties as instructed

Technical Competencies

  • Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with MS-Office programs
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum of a year’s experience in admin/reception
  • A high-school diploma holder
  • Ability to speak fluently in both Arabic and English


  • 8:30am – 5:00pm
