The points system for Emiratisation

Employment of national cadres shall get 50% of total points

The organization gets 50% of the points; 5 points if it employs a citizen in its higher management, 3 points in the middle management, and 1 point for other jobs, provided that the employment contracts are full-time either in the premises or from home. . If the recruitment contracts are part-time, the organization shall gain only half of the designated points.

 

Extra points are granted based on the geographical location in which the employee shall work.

 

Additional points can be gained if people of special needs or women are employed or if national students are delegated abroad to finish their academic degrees and are employed after their return with the proper certification. Additional points are:

 

  • 6 points for delegating a citizen student and employing him after his return.
  • 2 points for employing women

If the employer is of special needs, the organization gets double the points set for other categories based on the job level.

Training 20%

The Club-member organizations shall get 20% of the points, set for training and development, based on their budgets’ appropriations and actually spent funds on training and development of national employees during a fiscal year.

Innovative Employment 10%

The Club-member organizations shall get 10% of the points allocated for this item for applying various patterns of work, such as:

  • Online jobs
  • Part-time work
  • Collaborative work
  • Seasonal casual work
  • Contracting with self-employed citizens.

The Commitment of the senior management to employ national manpower 10%

The Club-member organizations shall get 10% of the points allocated for this item if their internal structures include Emiratisation as a benchmark of senior management performance excellence, or as a bonus priority variable..

Work Environment 10%

The Club-member organizations shall get 10% of the points allocated for this item if they create positive work environs, such as:

  • Providing convenient and decent work places for women
  • Allowing the flexible work hours
  • Arranging activities and programs for the employees
  • Adopting a system to reward the distinguished employees.
