The United Arab Emirates (U.A.E) Flag Day is a national occasion where people of the UAE remember the efforts of the founders of their State, Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid, and their brothers who sacrificed everything for the sake of their nation. It is a day when the national spirit is renewed, and an occasion to reflect on the achievements of the era of the President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The UAE flag represents meanings of justice peace, tolerance, power and moderation, under which all Emiratis live a decent life and enjoy security and stability. This comes in continuation of the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan

Here’s how you can raise UAE flag from anywhere this Flag Day
If you cannot raise a flag at your home or workplace this UAE Flag Day on November 3, you have the opportunity to do it in the virtual world from anywhere on Earth, thanks to an initiative by the Ministry of Education.
The ministry has created an online platform for UAE citizens and residents to proudly raise the national flag electronically on the upcoming Flag Day.
Sheikh Mohammed calls on residents to raise UAE flag on November 3
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has called on residents, ministries and government institutions to raise the UAE flag on November 3rd.
The UAE marks November 3 as Flag Day every year to commemorate the accession of the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has invited UAE residents to take part in UAE Flag Day celebrations on Nov.3 (Sunday).
Sheikh Mohammed took to Twitter to invite all to mark the day.
“On Nov.3, we will celebrate the UAE’s Flag, which is a symbol of our unity and sovereignty. On this glorious national occasion, all our institutions, ministries, bodies and schools are invited to raise the flag on the UAE Flag Day at 11:00am. We will raise our flag together in an expression of common destiny and our belonging to the UAE,” he tweeted.
Officials teach public to protect UAE flag ahead of Flag Day
Municipal officials visited towns on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi on Thursday to hand out UAE flags and advice on how best to maintain the country’s banner, ahead of Flag Day celebrations.
Abu Dhabi Municipality workers visited Mohamed bin Zayed City, Shakhbout City, Mussaffah, Al Shahama and Mafraq as part of the campaign to teach Emiratis how to care for their flags.
Emiratis and residents are encouraged to hang the country’s banner outside their homes on November 3, known as Flag Day, which celebrates the accession of Sheikh Khalifa as President of the UAE 15 years ago.
On Thursday, the municipality said flags must be kept clean and their colours bright. Flags that tear or become weathered must be replaced.
